About this Event
Founded in 1995, the Women of Excellence Awards have honored leaders across business, industry, public service, nonprofit, and beyond for more than three decades. The awards are presented by the Lafayette Commission on the Needs of Women, established in 1976 to address and serve the needs of women in Lafayette, elevate their concerns, and promote programs and opportunities that strengthen our community.
For 31 years, the Women of Excellence Awards have carried this mission forward by recognizing women whose leadership, service, courage, and contributions make a lasting impact throughout Acadiana.
As the Lafayette Commission on the Needs of Women celebrates its 50th anniversary, this year’s honorees carry forward a powerful legacy of excellence while inspiring the generations who will follow. Together, we celebrate “50 Years Forward: Honoring Legacy. Inspiring Generations.”
