For generations, McCaskey graduates have carried their experiences in Lancaster into careers, communities and organizations across the region and beyond. This fall, the McCaskey Alumni Association will once again bring the community together to celebrate alumni whose work continues that tradition.
The McCaskey Alumni Association will host its 30th Annual Distinguished Alumni Banquet on Thursday, Oct. 15, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Imperial Event Center at the Holiday Inn Downtown Lancaster, 26 E. Chestnut St.
The Distinguished Alumni Awards are one of the Alumni Association’s signature programs. Each year, the association recognizes McCaskey graduates who have distinguished themselves through their professions or service to their communities and whose accomplishments can serve as examples for current School District of Lancaster students.
The banquet also gives alumni, educators, families and community members an opportunity to reconnect and celebrate the lasting influence of a McCaskey education.
Now in its 30th year, the program reflects the many paths McCaskey graduates have taken after leaving the halls of McCaskey High School. Past honorees have represented fields including education, medicine, science, public service, business, the arts and community leadership.
This year’s celebration will take place in the Grande Ballroom at the Imperial Event Center. The evening will include charcuterie, a buffet dinner and a cash bar. Business casual attire is requested. Free parking will be available in the Duke Street Garage, with entry from Chestnut Street.
Tickets are $75 per person, and advance registration is required. The deadline to RSVP is Friday, Oct. 2.
The School District of Lancaster congratulates this year’s Distinguished Alumni honorees and thanks the McCaskey Alumni Association for continuing to celebrate the graduates who have helped shape the story of McCaskey and the Lancaster community.
