About this Event
Most people prepare financially for retirement. Rarely do people plan who they’ll be on the Monday after they stop working.
Join me for a relaxed, in-person afternoon in Saskatoon, built for high-achievers who are approaching retirement, or already in it, and want to go into this chapter with more than financial confidence.
Does any of this sound familiar?
- You’ve planned every other chapter of your life. This one, you’re not sure where to start.
- Your finances are on track, but something still feels unsettled when you think about retiring.
- You wonder who you’ll be without the title, the full calendar and the people you see at work every day.
- You can picture the first few months (the trips, the projects around the house) but not the years after that.
You’re not alone! These are the things I hear most from accomplished people approaching retirement, and they rarely come up in a financial plan.
What you’ll walk away with
We’ll work through the 3 keys I use with every person I coach: Know Your Current State, Design Your Future State, and Bridge the Gap. By the end of the afternoon, you’ll have:
- A clearer sense of what’s behind that unsettled feeling, beyond the money
- A first picture of what you want your days to actually look like, so “someday” starts to take shape
- One small, low-risk step you can try this month, instead of waiting until your last day of work to figure it out
- A few new connections in Saskatoon who are thinking about the same things
What to expect
This is a small, in-person session of about 90 minutes. There’s an hour of real teaching, time to reflect and talk with others at the same life stage, and open Q&A at the end. It’s not a sales pitch. It’s the same framework I use with my own coaching clients, condensed into an afternoon. For anyone who’s curious, I’ll also briefly share how I’ll be working with a small Saskatoon group starting in January.
My new book, Designing Your Second Act (Routledge, Productivity Press), is now out, and I’ll be drawing for a free copy at the end of the event.
A bit about me
I’m Tammy Martins, an MBA and certified Lean Leader with over 20 years of executive experience across healthcare, financial services and manufacturing. Outside of my day job, I coach and speak on retirement transition and intentional life design, helping people bridge the gap between where they are and where they want to be.
Who this is for
Anyone who has planned and executed their way through their career and doesn’t want to leave this next chapter to chance. Whether you’re still working and starting to think ahead, or already retired and figuring out what’s next, you’re welcome here.
