This holiday season, we are going to take a journey into the past and explore the holiday cards of yesteryear. The cards we know today got their start from the Victorian era, specifically with Queen Victoria and Prince Albert of England’s traditions and Charles Dickens. This month’s 3 in 30 will look at three holiday cards as well as explore what common themes were present, from children being bullied by animals to elaborate ones that look like lace. This program is free to the public. A $5 donation would be greatly appreciated. Advance registration is required.
