Presented by Rise Up Selects2slimey - STRAIGHT BASS Tour
2Slimey (born Sergio Garcia) is an American rapper who broke out in 2024 after his track "Shrimp" went viral on TikTok. Known for his incredibly chaotic, loud, and heavily distorted production, his style pushes the boundaries of rage rap by blending it with elements of hyperpop, digicore, and noise music. He has quickly become one of the most polarizing and talked-about internet-era hip-hop artists, earning co-signs from figures like Lil Uzi Vert and North West.
Music critics frequently debate 2Slimey's place in modern music, with reviewers at publications like Pitchfork and Complex describing his tracks as a "barrage of sounds" featuring extreme auto-tune, deep-fried distortion, and bit-crushed hyperpop drums. While some evaluate his sudden rise as a meme-driven internet novelty, others highlight his unique aesthetics and credits him with pushing the underground rage subgenre to its absolute limits.
