About this Event

We are Heart of Manchester, an Italian association dedicated to supporting people in need, and we'd love for you to join us for a special day of friendship, community, and wellbeing.

Come along for our Walk for Solidarity as we explore Manchester's beautiful canals together. Whether you come on your own or with friends, this is a fantastic opportunity to meet new people, enjoy great conversations, share a few laughs, and create wonderful memories.

Meeting point:
Outside Deansgate Station
Whitworth Street West
Manchester
M3 4LG

Time: 27th September 4:00 PM

Our team will be wearing high-visibility jackets, so you'll be able to find us easily.

From Deansgate Station, we will follow a 3.5km circular walk starting at The Wharf in Castlefield. The route takes in some of Manchester’s highlights, from the old canals and Gothic Revival Town Hall to more recent additions such as the Civil Justice Centre.

The trail follows the paved towpaths and street pavements in the city. There are no stiles or gates on route, just a few steps.
The route is almost entirely flat and suitable for most people. Please wear comfortable shoes and bring a waterproof jacket, as the weather can be unpredictable. Don't forget to pack some water and a few snacks to keep you going!
