Join us for the launch of our newest second-floor art exhibit, featuring Woodland Reverie by Canadian artist Jessica Chantz. ✨Currently based in New Brunswick, Jessica is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the emotional experiences that shape how we see ourselves and the world around us.
Inspired by the imaginative storytelling and design of midcentury artists including Mary Blair and Eyvind Earle, Jessica brings delicate textures, expressive details and a playful sense of character to her work, creating pieces that feel both nostalgic and deeply personal.
Her Woodland Reverie series began during a period of significant personal change while living in Cambridge, England. Through these whimsical animal portraits, Jessica explores vulnerability, connection and belonging, inviting us to reconnect with softness, curiosity and the sense of wonder found in everyday life.
