About this Event
Join us for a vibrant day celebrating creativity, connection, and living well with dementia. The Creative Dementia Festival brings together people living with dementia, family carers, artists, researchers, students, health and social care professionals, voluntary organisations, and members of the wider community.
What's Happening?
Interactive Performances Experience the joy and imagination of Goofus Theatre, who will deliver two engaging and interactive puppet theatre performances during the afternoon. These unique performances encourage participation, spark conversation, and showcase the power of creativity to connect people of all ages and abilities. Theatre shows at 11:30am and 1:30pm, creative activities, exhibitions, lived experience and caring information.
Creative Activities Take part in a range of hands-on creative activities designed to inspire conversation, connection, and wellbeing. Activities are suitable for people living with dementia, carers, families, students, and professionals.
Exhibitions and Information Stands Browse displays from local organisations, community groups, and services supporting people living with dementia across Greater Manchester.
Networking and Conversations Connect with others who are passionate about creating dementia-inclusive communities and exploring new ways of supporting people to live well with dementia.
Refreshments: Tea, coffee and cold drinks will be provided. There is also a café on site for light refreshments/food
Access: all areas accessible, ground floor locations with ramps
Free Parking Available for Registered Attendees
Thanks to the support of the University of Salford, free parking is available for festival attendees and exhibitors.
If you require parking, please email your vehicle registration number in advance to ensure it is added to the parking list. Once registered, you will not need to use ParkUs or pay for parking on the day.

If you are bringing equipment, displays, or materials to the festival, please send your vehicle registration number in advance so arrangements can be made for drop-off access at New Adelphi.
