This is a 3 night Rally and Campout at the newest Nevada State Park that is free to attend but camping fees are required to be paid to the State Park, whether you get a reservation ahead of time online, or you pay the park upon arrival if you are camping in a tent off your ADV Moto in the group campsite with us. There are 6 full hookup sites in the WRSRA Group Campsite that are all taken by the volunteers that are helping put this Free Rally on, along with a huge gazebo, two massive bbq’s and enough area to put 25-30 more tents for campers off of their moto. There is an adjacent campground that you can book a reservation from Thur-Sun if you have an RV and want to camp in that called the Quail Run Campground with 25ish RV campsites. There are also 4-5 cabins one mile away that are part of the park that you can reserve as well. Last year we had 7 or 8 attendees from California that camped and or rented the cabins and just rode their motos to the group campsite each evening. The camping fees are low and I will post the info for the reservation site and all the details about the park in the discussion thread of this event.
We will offer many GPX Route Loops for rides in the area where you can ride all day, stop in a small Nevada town for lunch or just ride into the mountains and back on your time.
We will also have a potluck Saturday night where we will fire up the BBQ’s for everyone and you can cook your own meat and bring a side dish to share with everyone else… it was a big hit last year. This year we will also raffle of some adventure motorcycle items/gear and draw the winners at the Potluck Saturday night.
We will have a FREE and a For Sale tables for people to exchange gear or moto stuff they don’t want or need.
And finally, for the first time, this year we will have a Professional ADV Off Road riding Instructor offering half day clinics for $200 per rider. He will do some beginner and some more advanced training classes and his name is Rob Day, a good dude, I’ve known for 6 or 7 years. He will conduct the teaching right next to the park on BLM land.
Please ask questions in the Discussion thread of this Event and that’s where I will post updates as well.
Last year all the participants were so generous with their donations in the can that we paid for everything and everyone back for all that they contributed to the successful event! Please bring some cash to share for all our hard-work so we can keep putting this event on. If you’re on an ADV bike and camping off of it don’t worry about bringing food if you don’t want, just put what it would cost you to eat in the donation can and eat the food available, we will have enough!
Hope to see you all at the 2nd Annual ADVRON Rally and Campout!
