About this Event
Wild Hooves Open Hearts is inviting the public through its gates to celebrate the magic of the holiday season! A Mustang Holiday is a festive and family-friendly fundraiser benefiting the wild horses of Wild Hooves Open Hearts. Families will enjoy a morning filled with holiday cheer including photos with Santa, gingerbread house decorating, themed raffle baskets full of goodies, a kids’ craft station, cocoa and treats, a meet-and-greet with the mustangs, and more.
All proceeds support Wild Hooves Open Hearts, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides trauma-informed sanctuary for mustangs who have endured injury, neglect, or trauma—often after being rounded up by the Bureau of Land Management. These incredible horses, once overlooked or unwanted, are given a second chance to heal and live autonomously in safety. Through sanctuary, education, and advocacy, we aim to preserve the legacy of America’s wild horses and inspire compassionate care for every mustang—on and off the range. Entry is free, come activites require a wristband which can be purchased at the gate.
Help us give the mustangs the warmest holiday yet. Come make memories, spread joy, and be part of something truly wild and wonderful.

About the Organization
Wild Hooves Open Hearts is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that provides sanctuary to wild mustangs, empowering them to live autonomously while preserving their legacy. We provide trauma-informed care to mustangs who have experienced injury or trauma through Bureau of Land Management roundups and have nowhere else to go. In addition to direct care, we educate adopters about the unique nature of mustangs and advocate for the humane treatment and protection of horses everywhere.
