This is the 27th year of our annual 24HR Movie Marathon. Each year we run a secret 24-hour movie marathon at the Hollywood Avondale where we show a mysterious line-up of films that run non-stop. Choose to purchase yr own BYO beanbag seat or regular cinema seat. On the big screen you'll get a wide range of genres - it could be everything & anything - from unseen gems, noir, horror, action, comedy - right through to wild trash cinema. Our sweet spots are 1968-1987 but don't hold us to it.We show 12-14 films each year.
We have a dinner break and breakfast break. BYO $ for snacks / good coffee and yummy food we have on hand to support the candy bar.
No hot food is allowed in the cinema. No annoying crinkly bags in the cinema. No yabbering during the films. No cellphone use during films.
Doors Open : 2.30pm (BYO Beanbag ticket holders let in first - based on when tix were purchased - first to last).
Marathon Starts Sharp : 3pm
