FROM BLUEPRINT TO REALITY
Celebrating the Arc of Our Journey
For more than 26 years, New Immigrant Community Empowerment (NICE) has turned hope into opportunity, challenges into progress, and bold ideas into meaningful change for New York City’s immigrant community.
Now, we invite you to join us as we celebrate how far we have come—and help build what comes next.
On Wednesday, October 14, 2026, NICE will bring together community leaders, partners, supporters, and changemakers for an unforgettable evening at New York City’s iconic Museum of the Moving Image.
The NICE 26th Anniversary Gala, “From Blueprint to Reality,” celebrates the extraordinary growth and transformation NICE has achieved in recent years. Together, we have turned a bold vision for immigrant worker empowerment into a living reality.
During this special evening, we will celebrate important milestones, including:
• The formal establishment of our Immigration and Labor Legal Services
• The successful launch of our Pre-Apprenticeship for Life and Work (PreAPLW)
• The advancement of a modern workforce development model rooted in dignity, opportunity, and economic mobility
• The expansion of our physical footprint through the creation of the NICE Campus—a place where our community can learn, organize, and thrive
• The continued growth of NICE as an institution prepared for the challenges and opportunities ahead
We will also proudly recognize leaders, visionaries, changemakers, and community champions who share our commitment to creating a more inclusive and welcoming New York for all immigrants.
Your presence helps turn hope into action. Every ticket, sponsorship, and connection strengthens NICE’s mission to empower immigrant workers to build stronger careers, provide for their families, protect their rights, and become leaders in their communities.
