Set Subject: Still life photography is a genre of photography used for the depiction of inanimate subject matter, typically a small group of objects. Similar to still life painting, it is the application of photography to the still life artistic style. There are three sections. One for developmental critique, one for Projected Digital Images (PDIs) and one for mounted prints.
Members can submit a maximum of four images, but no more than two in any section.
The competition will be judged by an interdependent judge appointed by the Internal Competition Secretary.
This type of event is great for aspiring photographers to view just what your local club can produce and to learn what photographic judges seek in terms of imaging, composition and quality.
