25th International Conference on African Economics and Development

Convening in Toronto, Canada, in 2027, this milestone edition marks a quarter-century of academic exchange, policy-focused discussion, and research on Africa’s economic future. For researchers, policymakers, and professionals exploring upcoming African economics conferences in Canada, the conference provides an opportunity to discover new research, exchange practical ideas, and build meaningful connections across countries and institutions.

As one of the African development conferences in Toronto 2027, the event aims to strengthen South-South and North-South research partnerships through focused networking and collaborative sessions. It also gives early-career African economists, PhD candidates, and development scholars a platform to present their work, receive expert feedback, and connect academic findings with practical development policies at national, regional, and continental levels.

Professionals searching for African economics and development conferences in Canada with invitation letter opportunities can also find a relevant platform for academic and professional participation. The conference welcomes African government policy advisors, economic planning officials, NGO leaders working in development programs, international trade analysts, regional integration specialists, postdoctoral researchers, and other professionals interested in contributing to evidence-based approaches to African economic development.
