STUDIO #119 | October 10 and 11 + October 17 and 18
10am - 5pm each day above Old Town Yucca Valley
Visit me in my home studio where I will have my encaustic (painting with beeswax and fire) printmaking set up going as well as current works depicting my ever evolving experimentations using chemistry, natural UV light, pigments, and hand-painted photography. The property houses a working studio for myself and to teach workshops as well as a tiny shed gallery. Stop by for a few minutes or a few hours. There are lots of places to sit, rest, enjoy the southside YV desert views, and visit with friends old and new. In my neighborhood there will be several other artist studios to visit as well. Just follow the signs...
Showing with me is, photographer, Paul Ivanuschka who meticulously hand prints his photographic works using carbon transfer, cyanotype, and gum bichromate methods. Both of us enjoy sharing the whys and hows of what we do. Come learn something new!
