The 2026 Athens Christmas Parade will begin at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, in downtown Athens, and the public is invited to line the route and enjoy this year’s “250 Christmas in America” celebration. The parade will start on the Trinity Valley Community College campus and travel north on Prairieville Street before looping through downtown along Tyler and Corsicana streets, then returning south on Prairieville to end near Lakeside Drive. Spectators are encouraged to arrive early, pick a safe viewing spot, and enjoy floats, music, and holiday displays presented by community groups and local organizations. Come to City Hall to pick up parade entry forms and bring your best example of Christmas in America!
