About this Event

25% OFF SATURDAYS UNTIL MARCH 2026!

Join our Historical Gems Walking Tour, a delightful journey through the city’s lesser-known corners, led by a charismatic character guide who will bring Edinburgh’s hidden history to life.

Wander through secret closes, tucked away courtyards, and atmospheric gardens as you explore stories of Mary Queen of Scots, Robert Rabbie Burns, and literary legends like J.K. Rowling and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. You’ll even visit iconic Outlander filming locations along the way.

Along your adventure, you’ll be treated to a traditional taster of haggis, neeps and tatties – Scotland’s most iconic dish. This will be paired perfectly and washed down with a warming dram of Glenlivet whisky, all served within the cosy atmosphere of Hot Toddy – one of Old Town Edinburgh’s most characterful and welcoming spots.

And the indulgence doesn’t end there! Thanks to the iconic Fudge House on the historic Canongate, you’ll also receive a delicious sample of handmade Scottish fudge and melt-in-the-mouth Tablet. Consider it a sweet tooth interrogation!

See this city like never before! This walking tour is ideal for history lovers, curious travellers, and anyone wanting a bite sized taste of Scottish culture – literally, and figuratively!

Book your spot today and experience the real Edinburgh through its unique stories and infamous flavours.
