This Twenty-fourth Sunday after Pentecost, we welcome Rev. Dr. Stephen J. Miller as our guest preacher. We will consider “The Realm of God” as we reflect on 1 Samuel 8:4-22 and Luke 17:20-25. Our time of worship will also include the musical offerings of our voice and bell choirs. Please be sure to check in with the Greeter at the Welcome Table. A supervised children's Prayground area is available with activities for the children that enables parents to worship in another area of the room.
If you will be joining us virtually, whether or not on livestream, you’re encouraged to prepare a worship space that’s meaningful to you – perhaps a candle as a reminder of the Light of Christ shining in the brokenness of this world, & your Communion elements for our time of gathering around the Open Table at Christ’s invitation to all.
Visit our website, montevista.org, to download the worship packet, get the link directly to our VistaStream YouTube channel (montevista.org/vistastream), learn more about our faith community, read our newsletters, submit prayer concerns, explore opportunities to participate, share financial tithes & offerings, & see ways that MVCC serves the community.
Be well. Be safe. Be healthy. Be connected.
MVCC has been faithfully serving others from our historic Nob Hill location for more than 90 years. We are an Open & Affirming congregation where everyone is welcomed, included, needed, & matters to God and to us.
