Moss Rock Festival's 21st year is presented by Chase Bank. We hope you'll join us November 7-8 outside at the Hoover Metropolitan Complex to explore Nature, Art + Design, Smart Living, craft beer, and so much more. 10am-5pm Saturday AND 10am-4pm Sunday.2026 Festival features include:
1 | Art + Design - artists, makers, crafters (MRF's 2026 Featured Artist is Penny Dobson of Tuscaloosa, AL.)
2 | Moss Rock Market & The Sweetery - shopping for local goods in home, body, health & yum
3 | Nature Enclave: organizations, businesses, and special programming and exhibitions
4 | Take Root (A Tree Legacy Project & Initiative) tree sapling giveaways and Special Exhibition: "Take root, alight; Take flight, afloat"
5 | Special Exhibitions & Features:
• 2026 Featured Artist, Penny Dobson
• “Ask an Architect” with bDot Architecture
• “Cahaba River Watershed Project”
• “Deforest, Reforest” Installation + Printmaking Workshop
6 | The Planet Projects - “Small Wonders | Big Impact” Insects: Above, Below, and All Around” - a classroom project where art meets nature, science & creative recycling. Large scale sculptures by area students will be created in school, then brought out and installed at the Festival for everyone to experience.
7 | Pet Adoptions with Shelby Humane Society
8 | Alabama Wildlife Center rehabilitated birds meet & greet
9 | Curated Soundscapes + Umbrella Lounges for lingering
10 | Cafe with local food trucks
11 | Beer Garden - 15th craft tasting event
12 | WonderKid Studios - art workshops for kids
13 | Giveaways - Tree Saplings from partnership with Jefferson County Greenways and Ruffner Mountain + other Festival swag
