Breakin’ Clay For The Cure, Inc. is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization whose members decided to take one of their hobbies and create an exciting event that would bring both friends and family together for a fun day of Sporting Clays, friendship, and camaraderie, all while raising money for charitable causes.Each year we select a charitable organization to be the beneficiary of our annual Sporting Clays event. Our beneficiary for 2026 will be the Allentown Rescue Mission. Founded in 1900, the Allentown Rescue Mission is the largest men’s homeless shelter in the Greater Lehigh Valley. For more than 125 years, the Mission has served men experiencing homelessness and crisis with a clear purpose: to rescue them from immediate hardship, rehabilitate them through structured support and faith-based guidance, and restore them to self-sufficiency and stable, productive community living.
Located at 355 West Hamilton Street in Center City Allentown, the Mission serves residents throughout the Greater Lehigh Valley, with extended reach into Carbon, Bucks, and Montgomery Counties. As a 100% privately funded organization, the Mission relies entirely on the generosity of individuals, churches, foundations, and community partners. In 2025, the Mission provided 30,959 nights of shelter and 59,756 meals, serving 877 men through the Emergency Shelter and related programs.
