The Wichita Friendly is confirmed for January 29-30, 2027!Full details to be posted here as we get closer to the date, but here is the basic info:
• 8 team tournament. 7 team spots have already been spoken for. Interested in being the 8th? DM me!
• Friday night is a round robin format of mini-games (about 20min). You will play every other team. Equivalent of 7 periods played (2.3 games).
• Saturday is a standard single-elimination bracket format. All teams will play 3 games.
• all teams are guaranteed equivalent of over 5 games over the two days.
• Skill level equivalent to 3-3.5 level in HockeyFinder.
• Registration/Cost is at the team level: $1,063. This includes ice time, refs and scorekeepers. Does not include lodging, travel or food/drinks. Per player cost will depend on the roster size of your team - discuss with your captain.
• As we get closer, I will confirm a hotel block at a hotel nearby. Sourcing quotes now! More to come.
