About this Event
Intellectual property is increasingly central to the U.S.–China relationship, shaping competition in advanced technologies, cross-border commerce, innovation policy, and the global business environment. As both countries navigate rapid technological change and evolving legal and regulatory frameworks, constructive dialogue on intellectual property has become more important than ever.
The 2027 U.S.–China Intellectual Property Dialogue will bring together leading legal scholars, former government officials, judicial experts, and industry representatives from the United States and China for an in-depth exchange on key developments in intellectual property law, policy, and practice. Hosted in San Diego, the dialogue will provide a forum for examining areas of convergence and divergence between the two countries, sharing perspectives on emerging challenges, and exploring opportunities for greater transparency, predictability, and constructive engagement.
We welcome opportunities to collaborate in support of the U.S.–China Intellectual Property Dialogue. If you are interested in contributing to this initiative—through sponsorship, institutional partnership, speaker recommendations, or other forms of support— please let us know by reaching out to [email protected]. We would be happy to connect with you.
