About this Event
What happens when the stories we inherit are no longer the stories we choose to live?
The 2027 Teen Broadway production, Ecos We Inherited, is a compelling theatrical exploration of generational trauma, limiting beliefs, oppressive ideologies, and the cycles that have shaped families and communities across generations.
Through the voices, movement, and creative expression of young performers, this production examines the invisible weight of the past—the fears we absorb, the expectations we carry, and the patterns we repeat without realizing their impact. But within every echo lies an opportunity to choose a different response, challenge what no longer serves us, and imagine a future defined by possibility rather than limitation.
Bold, honest, and deeply human, Ecos We Inherited invites audiences to reflect on what we carry forward, what we must leave behind, and what we have the power to transform. It is a story of awakening, resilience, identity, and the courage to break cycles so that future generations can inherit something different.
Because while we may not choose every story passed down to us, we can choose what happens next.
The past may shape us, but it does not have to define us.
