The Slurry Systems Workshop is the pavement preservation industry's premier hands-on training and demonstration event. Each year it brings contractors, suppliers, agency staff, and engineers together for technical education, live field demonstrations, and the chance to connect with the people shaping the work.Hosted by the International Slurry Surfacing Association, the 2027 Workshop covers the full range of preservation treatments: slurry seal, micro surfacing, chip seal, and crack treatment. This year, Demo Day moves from Wednesday to Thursday, pairing live field demonstrations with the Equipment Showcase that puts the latest machinery front and center. The rest of the week builds toward it, with single-track sessions on Tuesday and concurrent breakouts on Wednesday, plus NCPP certification exams offered at the conclusion of the Workshop.
