Formetco is back for another year of hosting the industry’s top-rated safety training event. Join us as we bring industry professionals together to learn the best practices and policies on how to keep you and your crew protected, secure, and responsible out in the field. With everyone’s favorite safety guy, Jim Pogue, leading it all, to share his knowledge and experience equipping you with what you need to succeed. This highly interactive and hands-on training will cover several key areas:

• OSHA 10 hour class: An engaging course that covers topics pertinent to the billboard industry. Participants who meet the classroom requirements will be awarded an OSHA Outreach course completion card.

• National Safety Council CPR/First Aid/AED class: This valuable session aims to meet OSHA requirements for remote workers. A certificate will be issued upon completion.

• Dealing with OSHA and contractors: We'll discuss how to handle situations such as an OSHA inspection or citation, dealing with contractors, and where to begin when developing a safety program.
• Climber training certification: This popular segment includes classroom training, practical instruction, and observed climbing techniques. Participants will start with beginner skills and gradually progress to more advanced techniques.

Transportation: Formetco will provide transportation between the designated hotel and Formetco facilities throughout the event. Attendees are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

Welcome Reception: Kick off the week with us! Formetco will host a welcome reception on Monday, February 8, at 6:00 PM. All attendees are invited to join us for an evening of networking and refreshments before training begins.

Local Attendees: For those driving directly to Formetco, training begins on Tuesday, February 9, at 8:30 AM. Please allow extra travel time, as Atlanta-area traffic can be unpredictable, especially during morning rush hour.

Event Conclusion: The Formetco Safety Event will officially conclude on Thursday, February 11, at 12:30 PM.

Departure: Formetco is located approximately 1 hour from the airport. For those flying home, we recommend scheduling departing flights no earlier than 3 hours after the event concludes. To ensure attendees get enough time to check-in and go through security, we encourage transportation to the airport be booked for immediately following the conclusion of the event.
