CRA at 50: Progress, Possibilities and the Road Ahead
Join Affordable Housing Clearinghouse (AHC) as we recognize the 50th anniversary of the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA).
Passed in 1977, the CRA has encouraged financial institutions to meet the credit needs of the communities they serve, particularly low- and moderate-income neighborhoods. Over five decades, it has helped support affordable housing, community development, and investment in underserved communities.
The forum offers an opportunity to reflect on progress, examine remaining challenges, and discuss the future of community reinvestment. Financial institutions, affordable housing developers, nonprofit organizations, community leaders, and industry professionals from across Southern California will explore opportunities for collaboration and ways to strengthen efforts to expand affordable housing and economic opportunity.
