About this Event
Step into an unforgettable evening of culture, elegance, community, and purpose at the 2026 Wylie Juneteenth Annual Gala: Harlem Nights – A Black Renaissance Celebration.
Hosted by the Juneteenth Organization of Wylie (JOW), this elegant evening will celebrate the spirit and sophistication of the Harlem Renaissance while bringing our community together for a night of dining, music, dancing, entertainment, recognition, and giving back.
This year’s Gala is more than a celebration—it is an evening of impact. We will proudly recognize minority educators in Wylie ISD for their dedication and contributions to our students and community. We will also spread holiday joy by collecting new, unwrapped toys for children and supporting elderly residents in a local nursing home with toiletries, personal-care essentials, comfort items, and Christmas gifts.
Guests are encouraged to embrace the theme and arrive dressed in their finest Harlem Nights / Black Renaissance-inspired attire for an elegant night celebrating our history, culture, achievements, and community.
