When Tradition Meets Modernity: Co-Shaping the Future of Chinese Education in Australia and Beyond
Chinese language education is evolving rapidly as traditional approaches meet new technologies, changing student needs and new perspectives on language and intercultural learning.
The 2026 Victoria Chinese Language Teaching Symposium brings together Chinese language educators, school leaders, academics and education professionals for two days of sharing, learning, collaboration and professional connection.
Through keynote presentations, practical workshops, panel discussions, TeachMeet sessions and teacher resource sharing, participants will explore current opportunities and challenges in Chinese language education and exchange ideas, strategies and classroom practices.
The symposium will also provide opportunities to build professional networks, connect experienced and emerging educators, and consider how tradition and innovation can work together to shape the future of Chinese education in Australia and beyond.
