Join us for the 2026 UMass Lowell Cybersecurity Summit at the Cyber Range in the Wannalancit Building.
The summit brings together cybersecurity professionals, researchers, faculty, and students to share insights into cybersecurity research, emerging challenges, and practical applications.
Agenda
The program includes:
- 10-10:10 a.m.: Opening remarks by Professor Xinwen Fu.
- 10:10–10:40 a.m.: Featured talk by Tasneem Nipplewala.
- 10:40–11:10 a.m.: Featured talk by Ahmed Hafeez.
- 11:10 -11:20 a.m.: Research spotlight by Professor Vinod Vokkarane.
- 11:20–11:30 a.m.: Research spotlight by Professor Anitha Gollamudi.
- 11:30 a.m. – noon: Presentation and live demonstration by UMass Lowell's Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition team, winner of first place at the 2026 Northeast Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition.
- Noon - 2 p.m.: Complimentary lunch and networking.
Professor Xinwen Fu will introduce the featured speakers, and Professor Sashank Narain will introduce the research spotlight speakers.
The event is an opportunity to connect with cybersecurity experts, learn about emerging research, and celebrate UMass Lowell's cybersecurity achievements.
