Bring your family and friends on Thanksgiving morning to our annual Turkey Escape 5k & 1 mile walk in Rehoboth Beach! This has become a special tradition, bringing our community together to support families facing life's most difficult challenges. All proceeds from the Turkey Escape 5k & 1 Miler directly support the needs of Rylie's Smile Foundation children who are suffering from a severe life long or terminal diagnosis. Since 2015, Rylie's Smile Foundation has worked diligently to educate, advocate for, and support families exploring complementary approaches to pediatric care. The need for your support continues to grow. Over the past year, the foundation accepted 167 applications from families whose child has been diagnosed with a serious medical condition. Approximately 87% of families we serve have a child with terminal diagnosis. Many face significant financial challenges and need our help with medications or supplements recommended by their treating medical team yet not covered by insurance. Funds our community helped us raise during our 2025 Turkey Escape enabled us to approve ALL applications recieved this past year! For families facing a terminal diagnosis, the help to improve quality of life and the ability to have more precious time together mean everything in this world. We have those of you who have supported our Turkey Escape 5k & 1mile walk to thank for this! Together, we can make a difference for children and families who need it most.
