Welcome to the 4th annual Taylor's Ruritan Club BBQ Bash Competition. Competitors can setup any time starting Friday morning and those cooking offsite can turn in at any point after 11am as long as turn in is before designated category time. Turn in Times are listed in rules section and all meats will be judged at thst time. If you turn in early, your turn in will be held in our warming cabinet until judged.🔥🔥🔥BBQ Bash Rules🔥🔥🔥
Turn in Times and general rules:
11:00am-People’s Choice Baked Beans, ½ Steam Pan (13”x10”x2.5”) covered. We will portion out the beans into numbered 2oz portion cups and the public will be given a to-go container with all samples and a ballot. Competitor with most votes will receive a custom award. This will not be calculated into the Grand Champion calculations
12:00pm-Chicken, minimum of 6 **thighs/drums **ONLY** in turn in box (garnish is optional), you can add more than six for judges to have an additional options.
1:00pm-Ribs, minimum of 6 bones in turn in box (garnish is optional), you can add more than six for judges to have an additional options.
3:00pm-Pork, minimum of 12oz in any combination you prefer in turn in box (garnish is optional), you can add Money Muscles medallions, chopped, pulled, scattered, smothered, etc 😊 for judges to have an additional options.
Awards (More cash places will be paid as more teams join so please share!!!)
1st place in each category will receive custom awards and percentage based cash prize, 2nd and 3rd in each category will receive custom award. Grand Champion will receive percentage based prize and custom award.
