About this Event

A conference on Confessional Reformed Baptist theology for pastors and laymen alike.

The Texas Area Association of Reformed Baptist Churches (TAARBC) is excited to sponsor the 7th Annual TAARBC Pastors’ Conference on September 15-16, 2026, at Heritage Baptist Church in Mansfield, Texas. Even though this is a conference geared towards pastors, we welcome all attendees who are interested in the subject at hand. These lectures will no doubt encourage and edify the pastor and layman alike.

Our association has determined that the theme for our Pastors’ Conference from year to year will be to cover a chapter in the 2nd London Baptist Confession of Faith. This year, each of the lectures will address chapter 6, "Of the Fall of Man, of Sin, and of the Punishment Thereof".

Our featured speakers will be Dr. Daniel Scheiderer, Dr. J. Ryan Davidson, and Dr. Jason Montgomery.

Dr. Daniel Scheiderer, originally from Tucson, AZ, has been in Reformed Baptist pastoral ministry since 2016, and has served as one of the pastors at Providence Reformed Baptist Church since October 2025. In addition to his service in the local church, he serves the broader church in a variety of ways, including as Assistant Professor of Christian Theology at International Reformed Baptist Seminary. He and Patsy have been married since 2007 and have four children, Ana, Malia, Danny, and John.

Dr. Davidson has been serving as the pastor of Grace Baptist Chapel (Hampton, VA) since August of 2008. He has been married to his wife Christie for nearly two decades, and they have four children. Dr. Davidson is a graduate of Samford University (BA), The College of William & Mary (MEd) in Counseling, and Southern Seminary (ThM) in Louisville, KY, and received his PhD in Early Church History/Pastoral Theology from The Free University of Amsterdam, Netherlands. He has contributed to various academic journals and has had the opportunity to teach pastoral theology around the world. He is the author of Green Pastures: A Primer on the Ordinary Means of Grace, Thinking through Anxiety: A Brief Christian Look and Abortion, and Brill Encyclopedia of Early Christianity Online.

Dr. Montgomery is one of the pastors at Christ Covenant Church Reformed Baptist (Fort Worth, TX). He has served as pastor for Faith Community Baptist Church (now CCRBC) in Fort Worth since 1998 and has been married to his wife, Janice, since 1990. They have been blessed with seven children. Dr. Montgomery completed his graduate work at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX, receiving his Master of Divinity in 1997. Later, in 2018, he received his PhD in Historical Theology/ Church History with a focus in Baptist studies, focusing his dissertation on eighteenth-century Particular Baptist pastor Benjamin Beddome.
