We are gathering community members and businesses to put together a ton of fun activities. Stay tuned for details on the following:

🍽️ STURGIS RESTAURANT WEEK:
Leading up to the Festival, we will be putting together our first Sturgis Restaurant Week! Restaurants, eateries, and drinking establishments will be invited to showcase their culinary and cocktail skills with special menu items in a celebration of food & drink. In honor of our Vegetable of the Year, each participating business will be encouraged to feature PO-TA-TOES in one or more special menu items! Boil 'em, mash 'em, stick 'em in a stew! More details to come.
🍷 BEER & WINE TASTING TENT:
We are inviting breweries and wineries from across the region to offer samples at the Sturgis Fall Festival! Wristbands will be available for purchase (TBA) and pretzel necklaces WILL be provided! We'll also have a big beer garden tent! Get ready for some tasty bevvy samples, Sturgis!
🥔 POTATO COMPETITIONS:
Help us celebrate our Year of the Potato with all kinds of potato-themed competitions! These might include potato sack races, potato carving, potato coloring contest, and more!
🎃 JACK-O-LANTERN SHOW & SHINE:
Are you a wizard at carving a pumpkin, or just want to be part of the festivities? Carve up your Jack-o-Lantern(s) and bring them down to the Fall Festival! We will have a Jack-o-Lantern "Show & Shine" area marked to display everyone's creativity. Please bring your own lights to illuminate your Jack-o-Lanterns (glow sticks, LED lights, etc) - **no open flames allowed, please refrain from bringing candles.**
🌶️ HOMEMADE SALSA COMPETITION:
Do you brew the best salsa around? Is it the spiciest, the sweetest, or maybe the most unusual? Enter our crowd-favorite Homemade Salsa Competition for a chance at the trophy!
🌻 GARDEN "GRANGE DISPLAY" COMPETITION:
Will Veronica reign victorious again?! Gardeners everywhere are invited to challenge her in the "Garden Grange Display" competition! Simply select up to 10 of your best, most impressive home-grown produce items (can include vegetables, grains, berries, fruits, flowers, etc - small items may be grouped) and arrange them in your designated 2'x3' (approx.) table display area for judging and public vote. You may sell or keep your items!
🍻 FALL FESTIVAL PUB CRAWL:
Join us after the festival for our second-ever, town-wide pub crawl! Find a hidden letter at each crawl location and unscramble them to reveal the code word. Successful teams will win prizes!

🥧 BECOME A VENDOR:
We are now seeking vendors of all kinds to attend the festival and sell your wares! We are especially interested in any vendor offering farmer's market items, potatoes or anything potato-related (food trucks welcome!), and fall-themed crafts and art! Booths are just $20 for a standard 10x10' space. Contact Kadence at (605) 347-2556 or email [email protected] to sign up as a vendor as soon as possible. Space is limited.
