🎡 A Ferris Wheel Returns to Downtown Stillwater
For the first time in more than 50 years, a full-size Ferris wheel is returning to downtown Stillwater as part of Harvest Fest!
The Ferris wheel's history in Stillwater goes back more than a century. The first Ferris wheel came to Stillwater during the 1902 Stillwater Street Fair, just nine years after the attraction gained worldwide popularity at the 1893 Chicago World's Fair.
Now, more than 120 years later, festival-goers will have the opportunity to see Stillwater from a whole new perspective.
The Ferris wheel will be located at the tip of Mulberry Point in Lowell Park, offering riders spectacular views of the St. Croix River, the Stillwater Lift Bridge, historic downtown Stillwater and the Harvest Fest festivities below.
“I’m looking forward to seeing tons of locals come down and see their town like they have never seen it before,” said organizer Cory Buettner.
Advance Ferris wheel tickets are $10 per person.
