9:00 AM – 1:00 PM Class – 1:00 PM Shooting - 2 persons at a time on site.

Cost:
$70.00 cash only.
We have guns and ammo (at no cost) if you don’t. Please feel free to ask to use them if you need. Otherwise, bring your own unloaded gun and ammo. You may bring loaded guns if you have a current permit.
Food, snacks, coffee, water will also be served, all food is free, donated by the hosts and friends and is not part of the $70.00 registration fee. So, if you don’t like what is served - no bitchin'.
Reservations not needed, just show up and sign in as early as 8:15 that morning.
**New Minnesota legal age policy since May 2025 Class**
Current Minnesota law says you must be 18 to apply for a carry permit. The certificate you receive at this class is required to apply for your permit at your local Sheriff's office. The class certificate is good for 1 year, so if you are 17 years plus you may take this class as long as you make it to your Sherriff's to apply within the one-year deadline.
This class also serves as education for permit renewal.
The Mahowald Family has hosted 2 classes per year since 2016 and is very pro second amendment. Please note that if you are anti-gun in any way, you will be treated friendly here, even if you ask stupid questions.
