BOSTON, MA — The annual is the one and only event that unifies the entire neighborhood, opening doors to the public for a powerful weekend of engagement with
art. It's not one building, not one gallery: it's the whole neighborhood.
United South End Artists has produced the event since 1986 and this year is
more expansive than ever before. On Saturday, September 19, and
Sunday, September 20, 2026, from 11am to 5pm, visitors are invited to
experience the range and richness of art in every corner of the South End. More
than 100 artists will be sharing their work across 10 locations, including 2
group sites, and 1 communal exhibition at Piano Craft
Gallery with an opening reception and kick-off party on September 18th, 6-8pm. The South End Open Studios provides an unparalleled opportunity to get a
window into the creative process, discover new work, and experience one of New
England's most dynamic artist enclaves.
