The Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) invites submissions for the 2026 Social Work Congress (2026 SWC), to be held at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre from Wednesday 18 – Friday 20 November 2026.We encourage contributions from practitioners, researchers, educators, students, people with lived experience, and community partners. Abstracts must be relevant to social work and clearly identify the topic area(s) addressed.
We welcome diverse forms of knowledge and experience – including practice innovations, program evaluations, policy initiatives, research findings, or co-designed projects – provided they contribute to advancing social work in Australia.
