The Election Committee of the Shakopee Chamber of Commerce is hosting its 2026 Candidate Forum on Thursday, September 24, at Shakopee High School. Six forums run back to back — come for the race you care about most, or stay for all of them.⏰ Forum schedule
4:00 PM — Minnesota House District 54B
5:00 PM — Minnesota House District 54A
6:00 PM — Minnesota Senate District 54
7:00 PM — Shakopee Mayor
8:00 PM — Shakopee City Council
9:00 PM — Shakopee School Board
Each forum runs about 45 minutes. Candidates do not receive the questions in advance. Every candidate gets the same number of questions, the same amount of time to answer, and a closing statement.
📺 Can't make it in person? Every forum will be livestreamed and then posted to the Shakopee Chamber's YouTube channel, Facebook page, and website so you can watch on your own time.
Admission is free and open to the public. No registration required.
A few house rules for guests: no campaign t-shirts, buttons, or signage inside the venue. Please watch silently, hold applause, and silence cell phones.
