The Widows’ Luncheon: Wrapped in Grace
The Newark Church of Christ Ladies’ Ministry invites you to The Widows’ Luncheon, a special afternoon dedicated to honoring, encouraging, and celebrating the widows of our Newark Church of Christ family.
While this gathering is especially designed with our Newark widows in mind, other widows, family members, friends, and guests are warmly welcome to join us for an afternoon of faith, fellowship, encouragement, and connection.

Through every season, God’s grace remains sufficient, His love remains constant, and His presence remains near.
Join us for good food, meaningful fellowship, spiritual encouragement, practical resources, and uplifting conversation as we celebrate the strength, faith, resilience, and continued purpose of the women among us who have experienced the loss of a spouse.
Our hope is that every widow leaves with this reminder:
You are seen. You are valued. You are loved. And you are not alone.
Keynote Speaker
We are honored to welcome Dr. Dorothy Dye as our keynote speaker.

Dr. Dye will share a message of faith and encouragement inspired by our theme, Wrapped in Grace: Covered By God’s Love in Every Season.
Navigating Health & Wholeness
Taking Care of the Woman Who Has Spent a Lifetime Taking Care of Others
Our luncheon will also feature a special Health & Wholeness conversation, “Your Health. Your Voice. Your Next Chapter.”
This practical and empowering discussion will focus on caring for the whole woman, including preventive health, knowing your numbers, heart health, the effects of stress and grief on the body, Medic*tion management, preparing for healthcare appointments, and becoming a confident advocate for your own well-being.
The message is simple:
Your health matters. Your questions deserve answers. And your next chapter deserves care.
