We're excited to announce the return of the 2026 Nelson Sport + Recreation Awards and officially reveal this year's event date! Join us on Friday, 27 November 2026, as we celebrate another outstanding year of sporting achievement, leadership, and community contribution across the Nelson region.
Join us as we recognise the athletes, teams, coaches, officials, volunteers, and the many people working behind the scenes who make Nelson such a vibrant place for sport and active recreation.
Nominations and ticket sales open on 1 September 2026 and will be available on the Sport Tasman website.
A huge thank you to our sponsors, partners, and stakeholders for their continued support. These awards are only possible because of the organisations and individuals who share our commitment to celebrating those who inspire, lead, and make a lasting impact on sport and active recreation in our community.
Mark your calendars, we can't wait to celebrate with you!
