The Community Health Fair, organized by the North Carolina Hmong Women Association, is a unique, community-driven event that celebrates the intersection of Hmong art, health, and culture while promoting access to care and overall well-being. This year’s theme, Creative Wellness: Health, Culture, Art, and Community, celebrates the connection between Hmong culture, creativity, and community wellness. Artwork from "Art for Health: A Hmong Perspective" will be on display at this community health fair. Additionally, healthcare organizations, businesses, and government entities are invited to participate in the health fair, which will offer vital resources, education, and services that support the health and prosperity of Hmong families and the broader community.
This year, we are also creating a vibrant marketplace where arts and crafts vendors can showcase and sell handmade items such as Hmong crafts, artwork, textiles, jewelry, and other cultural goods.
