Join Ricefield Arts for a free, family-friendly afternoon celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival (中秋节) through arts, crafts and cultural activities.
Taking place at The Theatre, The Boardwalk in Glasgow, the event will bring together creative workshops, cultural activities and independent arts and crafts stalls in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
Whether you are already familiar with Mid-Autumn Festival traditions or simply curious to learn more, everyone is welcome to come along, get creative and enjoy the afternoon with us.
What to expect
Throughout the afternoon, visitors can take part in a range of free drop-in activities, including:
- Fan Painting
- Tote Bag Painting
- Mask Painting
- Bookmark Making inspired by Nüshu Calligraphy 女书
- Family Rocking Horse Craft
- Free Fortune Cookies
You will also have the opportunity to browse arts, crafts and cultural stalls from independent makers and creative businesses.
