Join Arts New West for an exclusive, non-partisan conversation with mayoral candidates Patrick Johnstone (Community First Party) and Daniel Fontaine (New West Progressives Party).
Arts and culture are essential to a healthy, thriving and connected city. They bring people together, promote individual and community wellbeing, create vibrant public spaces, fund local artists, organizations and businesses, attract visitors, strengthen our economy and contribute to the identity and quality of life of our community.

The debate will focus on the municipality’s role in the arts and culture issues that matter to New Westminster—from supporting local artists and cultural organizations to funding affordable creative spaces, cultural investment, public art, tourism and promoting arts and culture in building a vibrant city.
