Experience one of Anne Arundel County’s favorite holiday traditions at Lights on the Bay! Drive through approximately 70 animated and stationary holiday light displays along the Chesapeake Bay at Sandy Point State Park, all while supporting the animals of the SPCA of Anne Arundel County.

- Sunday–Thursday: 5:00 PM–9:00 PM
- Friday & Saturday: 5:00 PM–10:00 PM
- Open nightly, including holidays
Admission
- $25 per car
- $40 large passenger vans, minibuses, and similar group vehicles
- $60 buses and oversized group vehicles
- $5 3D glasses, while supplies last
About Lights on the Bay
For more than three decades, Lights on the Bay has been a beloved Anne Arundel County holiday tradition. Families and friends return year after year to experience a two-mile scenic drive along the Chesapeake Bay featuring approximately 70 animated and stationary holiday light displays.
Best of all, your visit supports the SPCA of Anne Arundel County and helps provide care for animals in need throughout our community.
Lights on the Bay runs nightly, November 23, 2026, through January 3, 2027, at Sandy Point State Park in Annapolis.

Purchase your admission in advance through Eventbrite and present your ticket’s QR code at the gate.
Online ticket purchases are subject to Eventbrite processing fees. Admission may also be purchased at the gate with cash or a credit card.
Want to make the lights even more magical? 3D glasses will be available while supplies last. Online purchase options may also be available, making it even easier to have everything ready when you arrive.
Tip: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights are typically our busiest. For a more relaxed experience, consider visiting Monday through Thursday.
