Join us for the 3rd Annual Larry Itliong Community Breakfast on Saturday, October 24, 2026 from 9:00AM – 11:00AM at Kusina San Diego. We invite students, educators, business leaders, and community members in celebrating the life and legacy of Larry Itliong.
Held during Filipino American History Month, the breakfast serves to acknowledge student participants of the COPAO Virgil Yalong – Larry Itliong FAHM Essay Contest and address educational interests of the Filipino American community. The event is co-hosted by the Council of Philippine American Organizations (COPAO) and the Filipino American National Historical Society (FANHS) – San Diego Chapter.
Filipino American brunch items will be served for $45.00 per adult, including coffee, tea, and juices. Seating is limited. Advance ticket purchases are highly encouraged. For more information, contact COPAO – [email protected].

Sponsor the event, a student ($25 suggested), or a donation in any amount will be accepted and applied to supporting student attendance.
