🔥 BBQ is coming back to Keller!The Keller Lions Club State Championship BBQ Cook-Off returns October 2–3, 2026, bringing BBQ teams together for a weekend of competition, fellowship and supporting a great cause.
This is the 21st Annual Keller Lions Club BBQ Cook-Off, sanctioned by the Outlaw BBQ Association, with $10,000 in prize money and the competition limited to 75 teams.
Proceeds from this year's event will benefit Lions Club charities, helping Keller Lions continue serving our community and supporting those in need.
COOK-OFF CATEGORIES
• Brisket
• Spare Ribs
• 1/2 Chicken
• Anything Goes Beans
• Dessert
• Friday Night Appetizer Competition
TEAM ENTRY
Entry Fee: $175 for one or all meat categories
Anything Goes Beans: $10
Dessert: $20
Friday Night Appetizer Competition: $20
Electrical Hook-Up: $50 flat fee for Friday and Saturday — no water hook-up
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 2
• 8:00 AM – Team parking, registration and meat inspection begins
• 5:00–6:30 PM – Tray handout and T-shirt pickup
• 7:00 PM – Appetizer turn-in and judging
• 8:00 PM – Cooks meeting and event announcements
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3
Competition turn-ins begin at noon:
• 12:00 PM – Beans
• 1:00 PM – Chicken
• 2:00 PM – Ribs
• 3:00 PM – Brisket
• 3:30 PM – Dessert
• Awards Ceremony – Time to be announced
