Registration is open for the 2026 Iowa Local Food Summit!Iowa’s food system is full of opportunity. Across the state, farmers are growing food for their communities, schools are purchasing more Iowa-grown products, food hubs are connecting producers with buyers, and local leaders are exploring new ways to support food access, economic development, and environmental stewardship.
The Iowa Local Food Summit is a place to connect those efforts.
Join us Friday, December 4, 2026, at the Meskwaki Convention Center in Tama as we explore what it takes to grow more food in Iowa, strengthen markets for farmers, expand local food infrastructure, and build a food system that works better for all Iowans.
This event is open to farmers, food producers, food businesses, food hubs, school food service leaders, institutional buyers, public health partners, policymakers, educators, researchers, students, and community members interested in Iowa’s food future.
