From robotic vacuums and kinetic sculpture to the Kimberley night sky, this year’s exhibition brings together ten newly commissioned works at the Joondalup Contemporary Art Gallery. Taking part are David Attwood, Amanda Bell, David Brazier, Christophe Canato, Jacky Cheng, Brett Leigh Dicks, Louise Malarvie, Amy Perejuan-Capone, Ash Tower and Ben Galmirr Ward, with works spanning painting, photography, sculpture and installation.
Each year, the Invitation Art Prize showcases the work of Western Australian artists, with an independent judging panel selecting the winner of the $25,000 prize. Judges consider the quality of the work and its connection to the Joondalup community, with the winning artwork added to the City’s permanent Art Collection.
Come and discover the ten new works for yourself and see who takes home this year’s $25,000 prize.
