More than 10 million children enter a children's hospital across North America each year. Because insurance programs do not fully cover the cost of care, children's hospitals rely on donations and community support to help provide life-saving treatments, specialized equipment, groundbreaking research, and family-centered care. Since 1983, Children's Miracle Network Hospitals has helped fill those funding gaps, raising more than $9 billion to support local member hospitals.
The Torch Relay for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals brings communities together to support the mission of saving and improving the lives of as many children as possible. Best of all, 100% of the funds raised stay local, directly benefiting the participant's Children's Miracle Network hospital.
Hosted at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center, this special event brings together community leaders, families, supporters, and sponsors for an evening of purpose, hope, and giving back.
