You have NEVER been to a candidate forum like this. Trust us.The day before early voting starts, we're giving the candidates for Mayor and Town Council one last chance.
Part forum, part game show—and 100% Hilton Head Island.
This won’t be your typical candidate forum. Expect policy scenarios, rapid-fire questions, games, and a few surprises - all designed to give voters a chance to see what you know, what you're passionate about, how you think under pressure, and what you actually plan to do for Hilton Head Island.
The offices of Mayor and Town Council Member are VERY serious; we think voters should also get to see the people behind the campaign slogans - see what they know, what they're passionate about, how they think under pressure, and what they actually plan to DO for Hilton Head Island.
Why host *this* forum?
Caitlin Lee is passionate about FUN!
Heather Rath finds joy in a perfectly crafted and executed POLICY.
Put us together, and you get 30+ years of combined experience running campaigns on Hilton Head Island, asking questions, talking politics, working on issues and watching what makes candidates tick - especially once they get into office.
But here's the difference this year:
Neither of us is running a campaign.
We're not representing a candidate. We're not working for a candidate. We're just two people who love this Island, a good political conversation, and felt it was time to host a candidate forum --- albeit a little differently.
So, candidates… bring your A-game.
And voters… you will NOT want to miss this one.
SO, YOU WANT TO BE MAYOR OR ON TOWN COUNCIL?
Let's see what you've got.
